Today's patch adjusts the following 👇 :
OPEN-WORLD BALANCE SYSTEM
- An experimental balance system based on bonuses/penalties has been added to the game
- This balance system has 3 stages, each triggered by a certain difference in the number of online players
- If the player difference is less than 5%, no bonus/penalty is applied
1st Stage
- If the difference in online players is greater than 5%, Stage 1 is applied: the disadvantaged nation gains +15% AP, while the advantaged nation gains the usual amount
2nd Stage
- If the difference in online players is greater than 10%, Stage 2 is applied: the disadvantaged nation gains +30% AP, while the advantaged nation gains the usual amount
3rd Stage
- If the difference in online players is greater than 15%, Stage 3 is applied: the disadvantaged nation gains +45% AP, while the advantaged nation receives –15% less AP than usual
Please keep in mind that more bonuses/penalties will be introduced in upcoming patches. This is only the initial phase. If you have suggestions for additional bonuses/penalties, please post them in the suggestions channel.
NEW UNIQUE DANCE
- We are the first project to add our very own dance!
- Dance number 5 can now be found among the in-game emotes, let's try it!
CULLING CALCULATIONS
- Calculations inside the engine have been reworked
- At max zoom, graphical anomalies such as missing ground should no longer occur
SKILL SYSTEM / ANIMATIONS
- Animations have been completely reworked, minimizing "overcasts" (please watch out for potential errors)
- The skill system should now feel smoother
- Chaos Arrow: Cast time changed from 0.28s → 0.43s
- It is no longer possible to cast "Pendatron’s Favour" while using "Sacred Blessing"
FEAR SYSTEM
- The fear system has been revised and adjusted
- Fear should no longer cause drastic teleporting of affected players
- Fear should no longer cause characters to become stuck at one place
NEW PVE OPTION
- The map Elarion Grove has been added to the game
- Access it via the secret document portal
- Players can teleport in for 1 gold; returning costs 500 silver
- This farming option lasts 20 minutes per day, divided into 4 parts (5 minutes each) at these times :
- 9:00 - 9:05
- 15:00 - 15:05
- 19:35 - 19:40
- 1:05 - 1:10
- On this map, players can obtain only the "Bag of Many Wonders", which contains exclusive loot!
BATTLE MODES
Balance System
- An experimental new balance system has been added
- Archer and Mage are now divided in the same way as other classes, ensuring more balanced teams
Adjustments
- CTF: The flag will return to its original position after 15 seconds if not held by any player
- Defensive potions and all buffs now disappear upon rejoin (bug fix involving armor stacking)
QOL
- Players can now instantly log out/quit the game if they are in the main cities (Markut/Keter)
- When a player dies, simply approaching a Monk will prompt a message to revive – no extra clicks required
- Players can now use the preview function on items already contained in boxes
TERRITORY WAR REWARDS
- New chest Mysterious Treasure Chest – Territory War has been added to the game
- This chest is identical to the Battle Mode chest, except it does not contain Holy Stones from castles
- Amount of obtainable Battlefield Coins has been increased
- The number of chests received per hand-in has been reduced to 2; guild leaders receive 3
TOURNAMENTS
- Archers can no longer use "Invisibility Potion" in tournaments
PORTABLE STORES
- When purchasing an item, the seller will now see who bought it – the buyer’s name will appear in the mailbox
NEWCOMERS ADJUSTMENTS
- When creating a new character, an Administrator message will appear, reminding newcomers to check the Cash Shop where free starter items await
- To improve orientation, the Cash Shop will now blink for new characters
